In parallel with my interest in Home Cinema was my interest in Hi-Fi. In fact the one led to the other.

Whilst selling Hi-Fi (including Bang & Olufsen) I started realising how much better things could sound and, tempered by my wallet, I started upgrading various elements of my music listening set-up.

It currently is fairly static and has been for a number of years. Comprising a number of Musical Fidelity components such as Integrated Amp, Power Amp, Off-Board DAC, PSU and Phono Pre-Amp.

Sources are an Arcam CD70, SystemDek IIx Turntable, and Sony Tuner, Mini-Disc and Cassette decks.

At various times I have bi-amped the speakers via the amplification to good effect.

In addition I still have my Musical Fidelity ‘The Pre-Amp’ and a pair of Typhoon Power Amps. Believe it or not I use this set-up on my PC! :-)
